Disney Heroine: Belle

Ah, my classical "favorite". I was rather torn between "The Little Mermaid" as a fairy tale in my youth, and "Beauty and the Beast". But in the end, Beast wins, hands down. This movie grabbed my attention for that reason. I always did, however, dislike the yellow dress they stuck Belle in. Yuck! And poor Jane, she got the same treatment years down the line!

Oh well, here you have it. The story still pleases me today!
